Job Duties
This position manages a team (3+) of system administrators/engineers that support Windows, UNIX and various Application infrastructures, all of which the EPIC EMR is running on
The Lead, Departmental Systems also manages clinical services budgets and procurement decisions.
This position works closely with other IT Associate Directors and Managers and with Clinical Systems and other senior leadership to ensure security, compliance, performance, service level agreements, operating level agreements and operational standards are met for all supported departments, including clinical services.
The Lead, Departmental Systems additionally plays an architectural role within IT, focusing on application delivery and collaboration, particularly but not solely within the realm of Client applications.

Desired Skills and Experience
5+ Years of Technoloigy Leadership experience particularly with Windows Systems
Previous Experience with EMR / EHR is required – EPIC is a PLUS, but any EMR systems will be fine
4+ Years of Supervisory Experinece supporting an EMR System is a PLUS
A strong understanding of Server & Infrastructure Systems with hands on experience managing systems engineers
