One of the top hedge funds in New York City ($22 Billion Under Management) has an immediate & urgent open full time permanent position for an Application Support Analyst. The firm has been in business for over 15 years & is still growing. This particular role is one that is open due to growth. This is a Business Analyst role that is technical in nature. You can expect to :
analyze financial data
gather requirements
assist the IT group with SQL Development (Write SQL Statements etc..)
Assist Production Support on products such as Charles River or Sunguard VPM (Which you can be trained on)
Eventually back up the organization’s SQL Server DBA while learning the business
Requirements :
2-3 years of Previous & Recent Hedge Fund Experience
Strong Application Support Experience
2-3 Years of Data Analysis experience on the buy side
Excellent Communication Skills
A willingness to learn & grow with the organization
