A very established & growing Hedge Fund in the Jersey City area has an immediate need for a Windows Architect / Engineer with strong experience in VMWare with previous financial services experience. The firm has been in business for over 30 years & is managing well over $100M in assets. They have over 100 employees & are going through a great growth phase in its IT group. What you'll do :

You would be working on a team of very talented Windows Engineers & would be the Subject Matter Expert in all things Virtualization related. You would be working in a high profile role that manages all of our production systems & also doing R&D into the next generation of technology that we can move our systems into. We are a shop that consists of both Windows & Linux, so any previous exposure to multi OS environments is a PLUS too, but not required.

The ideal candidate will have experience such as :

• Very strong production experience with Windows 2012/ 2008
• Very strong experinece in VMWare 5.5, 6.0 & exposure to 6.5
• Strong experience in Active Directory
• Any Powershell Automation Scripting is a PLUS
• Exchange is a PLUS
• Any previous hedge fund (buy side) experience is a major plus
